Third Party Cookies in Incognito Mode Error

Modified on Fri, 12 Aug 2022 at 04:57 PM

InSpace uses third-party cookies to create immersive collaboration experiences in your virtual sessions.

However, if you're using incognito mode in your browser, you may experience some errors or limitations on your experience, such as not being able to see shared documents or log in with your single sign-on account. This is because many browsers automatically block third party cookies while using incognito mode.

If this happens to you, there's a simple process to turn third party cookies back on so that your computer can communicate with InSpace while still using incognito mode. Please note that your page will refresh once you enable cookies.

To Enable Third-Party Cookies in Chrome

  1. On the top right side of the browser, click the three vertical dots and then select Settings. This will open the Settings page. From the left-hand navigation bar, select Advanced Settings.
  2. On the left side, select Privacy and security, then select Site settings.
  3. On the Site Settings page, select Cookies and Site Data.
  4. On the Cookies and Site Data page, ensure that Block third-party cookies is toggled to off (grayed out).
